Not only Nogier frequencies can be used in auriculotherapy.

In laser frequency therapy, the use of Nogier frequencies at points on the ear is one of many ways to optimize the effects of point stimulation. There is a good book on the subject of laser frequencies entitled „Laser-Frequenztherapie – Kompass und Methoden (Claudia Loyall, Tilman Fritsch, Anja Füchtenbusch), in which these possibilities are described.

Auriculotherapists will also find plenty of suggestions here as to which frequencies are worth trying as an alternative to the Nogier frequencies for defined ear zones. For example, instead of the Nogier G frequency in the anterior region of the lobule, the - scientifically validated - frequency of 40 Hz, also known as the consciousness or connectome frequency, can also be used.

The effect of this frequency is also very positive in the entire area of the outer tragus, which reflects the commissural system of the brain, so that it can be used here as an alternative to the Nogier D frequency. In the zones on the ear that reflect the different areas of the brain - or even above the zero point - the frequency spectra of the different brain waves can also be used. This is done, for example, with the theta spectrum (theta sweep) to stabilize sleep behaviour.

Applying the alpha spectrum over the solar plexus can optimize HRV (heart rate variability) and the same approach can also be followed over the ear by treating the zero point with this spectrum. There are many examples to mention here. In short, there are many extremely interesting frequency series that are still rarely used by auriculotherapists, but are well known in laser therapy today and in some cases have become almost famous.

The book is available only in German language from bookshops (Naturmed) or occasionally from laser companies (MKW-Lasersystem GmbH).
